He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the North Carolina State Bar. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals – 4th Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the United States District Court – Eastern District of Virginia, Eastern District of North Carolina, the Supreme Court of Virginia, and the several Courts of the State of North Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond in 1971, his Juris Doctorate from George Mason School of Law in 1977, and graduated from the United States Army Command and General Staff College in 1986.
Mr. Zydron is a former Judge Advocate General of the Virginia National Guard and retired as a Brigadier General after 32 1/2 years of service. He earned the U.S. Legion of Merit Medal, the Virginia National Guard Bronze Star, the U.S. Meritorious Service Medal, the U.S. Army Commendation Medal, and the U.S. Army Outstanding Achievement Medal.
He is a former Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Norfolk, member of the National District Attorneys Association, and former President of the Chesapeake Bar Association. He is listed in the Richmond Magazine Super Lawyer’s Section – “Top Attorneys in Virginia 2009 and 2010 and 2012” and also selected for SuperLawyer.com for 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016. He was selected as a “Top 100 Trial Lawyer” by the National Trial Lawyer’s Association, and is a member of the Brain Injury Association of Virginia.
